Sgt Sarah Blodgett is WAWP Officer of the Year Women working as police officers across Wisconsin have named a member of the Sheboygan Police Department as their Woman Police Officer of the Year. The Wisconsin Association of Women Police has conferred their honor on Sergeant Sara Blodgett of Sheboygan. According to the Sheboygan Insider, a City of Sheboygan monthly publication, Sergeant Blodgett was nominated for her exemplary leadership as the Sheboygan County MEG Unit Commander, and cited as an outstanding role model, having fostered stronger relationships and teamwork among her team members.
