A storm that paralyzed large portions of the U.S. included Sheboygan County among its targets with between 10 and 12-inch snow totals a common report throughout Sheboygan County.  The storm, which began Tuesday night, ramped up around noon on Wednesday and reached max intensity by nightfall, and by 8 p.m. the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office reported that roads were becoming 'impassable' with numerous reports of accidents in the City of Sheboygan and the rest of the county. Even as the storm passed a 24-hour duration, the National Weather Service says there's still more to deal with and the Winter Storm Warning was maintained through noon on Thursday.
