SHEBOYGAN – Two banks will close their downtown branches in Sheboygan this fall. The U.S. Bank drive-thru branch at 611 Center Ave. and the Wells Fargo bank at 636 Wisconsin Ave. will close Oct. 11 and Nov. 1, respectively, according to letters sent to customers. 'Customers' banking preferences and behaviors are changing, influencing how and where we operate,' Matthew Gloshen, U.S. Bank district leader, said in the letter to U.S. Bank customers. 'As a result, we are consolidating some of our physical locations.
